Paper-over-board is a high quality and environmentally friendly alternative to PVC, offering greater visual impact by the use of litho or digitally printed papers reinforced with clear film lamination. The sheets are wrapped around board, and a lining sheet applied before creasing to create the spine and fitting the ring metal.
Paper-over-board ring binders can be produced in any reasonable size, and at a reasonable price since there is no special tooling involved. We can advise on suitable case sizes to ensure the contents fit comfortably, and give guidance on lay-down sheets for your printer.
While paper-over-board provides the opportunity for great graphics to give a striking effect, for the more traditional feel and looks we can also fabricate binders from bookcloths and buckrams, synthetic materials, pvc coated paper, P.U.s, bonded (reconstituted) leathers with silk or suede effect linings.
We have successfully produced binders and folders from customers own supplied materials; cloth made for tailoring trousers, vintage wallpapers, even 8ft x 4ft veneered wallboards. If the materials are capable of being bound, we are capable of making them work to good effect.
